Eldon Brough Joins the CWC Athletics Department as the New Head Women’s Soccer Coach
RIVERTON, WY – Central Wyoming College is proud to announce the appointment of Eldon Brough as the new Head Coach for the Rustlers' women's soccer program. Brough takes the reins at CWC with an extensive background in collegiate athletic coaching, a proven history of building program-best seasons, and specialized expertise in sports science and performance training.

Brough comes to Central Wyoming College following a successful multi-year tenure at Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely, Colorado, where he served as the Head Women's and Men's Soccer Coach for two seasons from 2022 to 2023 and then just as the women's coach for 2 more seasons in 2024 & 2025. During his time steering the NJCAA Division 1 programs, Brough established himself as a program builder. Under his leadership, the women's team achieved its best records in school history during each of his four seasons at the helm, while the men's squad similarly captured its most successful season in school history during his final year with the team.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome Eldon Brough to the Rustler family," said CWC Athletic Director Steve Barlow. "Eldon's track record of elevating programs and recruiting capability speaks for itself. We look forward to seeing him build a culture of excellence on and off the pitch here in Riverton."
Elite Sports Science and Strength Background
In addition to his tactical expertise, Brough brings an invaluable advantage to the Rustler women's soccer program through his extensive background as a collegiate strength and conditioning specialist. He previously served as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Utah Tech University (2010-2012) and Utah Valley University (2016-2018), where he directed fitness and performance programming for all of the university's athletic teams. His career also features stints as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Detroit Mercy (NCAA Division I) and a Strength & Conditioning Assistant for the Real Salt Lake Academy's First Team squads.
Brough holds a Master's degree in Athletic Coaching from Ball State University (2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis in Exercise Science from the University of Utah (2010). He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), holds a National Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches Association.
"I am excited, humbled and grateful to be selected to lead the CWC women's soccer program," said Coach Brough. "I believe this is a unique and special opportunity to work with the outstanding young ladies already in the program, as well as those joining this fall, as we look to compete in Region 9 and build on the success the team had in 2025."
