Riverton, WY— In historic fashion, the Central Wyoming College Rustlers secured their first-ever Region 9 playoff win in women's soccer by defeating the Northwest College Trappers with a final score of 2-1. The match, held on October 18, in Riverton, WY, marked a significant milestone for the Rustlers.

The game started off tightly, with neither side managing to score in the first half, maintaining a deadlock at 0-0 by halftime. The tension escalated in the second half when the Rustler's Jersee Clapier equalizing the score at 40:42 with an assist came from Sienna Bodily, giving CWC a brief lead.
