Central Wyoming's Ewell Recognized on NJCAA Region 9 All-Conference Team
RIVERTON, WY – Central Wyoming College Athletics is proud to announce that sophomore standout Tyler Ewell has received NJCAA Region 9 1st Team All-Conference honors for the 2025-26 season.
A Season of Excellence
Ewell's selection comes on the heels of a dominant conference campaign. Competing across six league tournaments throughout the 2025-26 season, Ewell maintained a staggering 71.7 average gross score.
His season was highlighted by multiple top-five finishes, including a recent individual title in Sterling, Colorado, where he shot a blistering 4-under par (68). Ewell's ability to remain under par across diverse courses and weather conditions was the driving force behind the Rustlers' competitive standing in the conference rankings this year.
Postseason Push: Destination Loveland
The accolades for Ewell come at a pivotal time as the Central Wyoming College men's golf team shifts its focus to the postseason. The Rustlers will travel to Loveland, Colorado, this week to compete in the NJCAA Men's Golf West District competition. The tournament will be held April 23-24 at The Olde Course at Loveland, with golfers competing in 54 holes of stroke play over the two-day stretch.
Following a season of strong team finishes, including a 1st place finish at the McCook Invitational on March 26-27, the Rustlers enter the district tournament with high expectations. Ewell will lead a deep roster that looks to capitalize on their recent momentum and secure a team qualification for the national championship.
