RIVERTON, WY — The Central Wyoming College Athletics Department & Booster Club is thrilled to announce the ultimate start to the upcoming academic year with its "Tailgate by the Turf" kickoff party. This community-wide bash invites sports-fanatics across Fremont County to attend the first CWC Rustler athletics home sporting event of the 2026-27 school year, which sees the CWC Women's & Men's Soccer teams take on Colorado Northwestern CC at 5 & 7 PM, respectively. 

No tailgate is complete without great food. Starting a half hour before kickoff of the women's game, with each $5 admission fee, attendees will enjoy a meal voucher for (1) burger, hot dog, chips & a drink provided by Rusty's Corner (while supplies last). It is the perfect opportunity for students, alumni, and local community members to mingle, grab a bite to eat, and celebrate the start of a brand-new athletic season.

• When: Saturday, August 22 at 5 & 7 PM (Food starts being served @ 4:30 PM)

• Where: Wolverine Stadium @ Riverton High School

• Admission: $5 entry fee (for first 100 attendees includes a food voucher)
